Lora N.R. Williams, Esq.

Lora Williams was born and raised in Decatur County, Indiana. She is an attorney and the owner of Williams Law Office, PC, where she practices in estate planning, business planning, real estate and corporate transactions. She is widely recognized as a leader in complex estate planning methods, providing trusted counsel, expertise and straightforward advice to fit clients’ unique objectives for lasting legacies and peace of mind.

In 1998, Lora was tapped as the Executive Director for the Indiana Republican Party, where she oversaw voter contact management, candidate relations, special events, and managed the staff of the state central committee. She was instrumental in developing several contact management technologies which were implemented statewide, providing the first automated voter contact software in many Indiana counties.

Prior to her stint at the GOP, Lora was an associate attorney at Cohen & Malad, PC in Indianapolis. There, she practiced in the areas of business management, consumer representation, class actions, and appeals.

Lora is very active in her community and has served on a number of boards and offices, including serving six years on the board and two years as president of the board of the Decatur County Family YMCA. She served as chair of the Decatur County United Fund campaign in 2012-13, and currently serves as president of the board of the United Fund (2017-18). She is currently the president-elect for the Greensburg Rotary Club, and she served 3 years as president of the Decatur County REMC Trust Board. Lora also served as the consumer member on the Indiana Board of Pharmacy from 2008-2013, serving as president 2010-11. Lora also serves on the Indiana YMCA State Alliance public policy committee, heading up the YMCA State Advocacy Day with the Indiana legislature in 2012 and 2013.

Lora has taught business law at Butler University and Indiana Wesleyan University, and she is a frequent lecturer for the National Business Institute. She earned her BA from Purdue University in 1993 and her JD/MPA from Syracuse University in 1996, and she is a member of the US Supreme Court Bar, the Indiana Bar Association, and the Decatur County Bar Association.  

Lora and her husband Tim have been married since 1998, and they live on the family farm in Decatur County with their children Jessica and Tyler. She and her family attend the Ridge church in Columbus, Indiana.
